    My Opel Vivaro was a bit dodgy where power was concerned, especially when loaded. With the P-Tronic kit, it's got its wind back, especially on hills. And there's more torque too, which I especially appreciate when I'm driving in town.

    Audi A3 1.4 TFSI 150 hp: the right choice

    As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles.     A real plus on Kia Cee'd GT 204 bhp

    When I bought a Kia Cee'd GT, I was expecting a real racing beast. Despite its 204 hp and some flexibility, it didn't offer all the feeling I was hoping for. Especially at low revs. The maximum torque is supposed to come out at 1750 rpm but you have to get past 3300 to really enjoy it. So I bought a P-Tronic box-unit and I don't regret it.
