P-Tronic box-unit on Alfa Romeo 156 JTD I bought a second hand car with a P-Tronic in it. At first I was a bit frightened about driving with it, and I took it out after a few weeks. W Golf V 19 TDI 90 bhp: better than a BMW 120d

I went from a VW polo 1.9 tdi 100 bhp, to this Golf 1.9 tdi 90 bhp. Comparing the two, the engine of the 90 version is much too dusty and noisy. I went through P-Tronic's external engine reprogramming (box-unit). With the gain in torque and nervousness (just what is needed), I feel more power than on my BMW 1 120D which has 177 bhp.The equipment is reliable and I haven't had any problems. Peter D. (Hasselt)
