When I bought a Kia Cee'd GT, I was expecting a real racing beast. Despite its 204 hp and some flexibility, it didn't offer all the feeling I was hoping for. Especially at low revs. The maximum torque is supposed to come out at 1750 rpm but you have to get past 3300 to really enjoy it. So I bought a P-Tronic box-unit and I don't regret it. What a difference on the Hilux VIII 150 hp! Your performance box more than compensates for the weight gain of the model and especially for the drop in power of the original model. Finally, I'm getting the same feeling in my pick-up and reasonable fuel consumption, thank you. Steve H., Blois
I've been driving a Toyota Hilux for as long as I can remember. I hadn't only heard good things about the latest version (with the 2.4 D4D 150 CV) but I didn't want to change my habits. Big mistake! Soft engine, lack of fishing, a cat. I spoke to my dealer who confirmed that the problem was raised by many users and he advised me your box. He installed it for me and the difference is obvious.
