My Opel Vivaro was a bit dodgy where power was concerned, especially when loaded. With the P-Tronic kit, it's got its wind back, especially on hills. And there's more torque too, which I especially appreciate when I'm driving in town. Christophe G., Verviers.
With my new BMW 320i of 170hp, never again a TurboDiesel. Thanks to this petrol engine equipped with my P-Tronic box, it offers a remarkable thrust up to 7000T without ever vibrating. It grows well. We arrive very quickly at 100 km/h. The noise of the 4-cylinder with sport sound is terrible. The fuel consumption is reduced by 1.5 l. It's a real pleasure! Alain G., Montbrison
As a diesel driver for over 20 years I was out of my comfort zone, and I had trouble deciding between the TFSI 180 (no COD) and the TFSI 150 versions of the Audi A3. I chose the 150 hp engine (I had an Audi Q3 2.0 TDI 140). After a four-month wait, I received the car and I have to say the quiet compared to diesel is very enjoyable. The Audi revs well and the box does a great job. A real pleasure. The transition to two cylinders (COD) is barely noticeable. BUT, as supplied, it doesn't transmit the power efficiently. Especially when starting. Knowing that this version is limited, I opted for P-Tronic (external) engine reprogramming, partly to avoid losing my warranty. I placed my order and two days later I was able to enjoy this extra option: the torque and smoothness have transformed my TSFI 1.4 into an exciting sports car for fun on winding roads or for getting away from traffic troubles.
