Coming from the 30 TFSI 116 bhp (Audi A1), I wanted to move up a gear by offering myself an almost new 150 bhp A3 1.5 TFSI. What a disappointment! My mechanic explained to me that the difference in acceleration was mainly due to the fact that I had changed from a 3-cylinder to a 4-cylinder and that the A3 was heavier than the A1, but that obviously didn't solve the problem. While doing some research, I quickly came across your box-unit and bought it. I have been driving it for almost 6 months now and I must tell you that I am very happy with it! I am a VW customer, and this is my first Seat. I drive less than 15,000 km/year. I chose this little 1.4 petrol turbo with 150 hp. My first thought was that the engine is much nicer than my previous 1.6 TDI. I had tested the 1.4 in an Audi Q2 and I got the impression that they had changed the engine mapping in my Leon. It's much too linear for my taste. I'm 62 and I wanted some fun when I bought this car. By adding a P-Tronic external reprogrammer (my fourth), my car has become much more agile and alert. The DSG gearbox is perfect. I miss the paddles. Conclusion: my TSI with the P-Tronic is the choice for a real sports car! Vinko K, Dubrovnik (Croatia)
My Opel Vivaro was a bit dodgy where power was concerned, especially when loaded. With the P-Tronic kit, it's got its wind back, especially on hills. And there's more torque too, which I especially appreciate when I'm driving in town. Christophe G., Verviers.
