It's like this, I have a 2006 Golf 1.9 tdi 90 bhp with 18 inch wheels. Because of these, I had lost power, but I acquired a P-Tronic additional IP box-unit 2 years ago. (...) The box unit works superbly, despite the large size of my wheels! I'm no longer driving a donkey! Thanks. Dany W., France
I went from a VW polo 1.9 tdi 100 bhp, to this Golf 1.9 tdi 90 bhp. Comparing the two, the engine of the 90 version is much too dusty and noisy. I went through P-Tronic's external engine reprogramming (box-unit). With the gain in torque and nervousness (just what is needed), I feel more power than on my BMW 1 120D which has 177 bhp.The equipment is reliable and I haven't had any problems. Peter D. (Hasselt)
I am a VW customer, and this is my first Seat. I drive less than 15,000 km/year. I chose this little 1.4 petrol turbo with 150 hp. My first thought was that the engine is much nicer than my previous 1.6 TDI. I had tested the 1.4 in an Audi Q2 and I got the impression that they had changed the engine mapping in my Leon. It's much too linear for my taste. I'm 62 and I wanted some fun when I bought this car. By adding a P-Tronic external reprogrammer (my fourth), my car has become much more agile and alert. The DSG gearbox is perfect. I miss the paddles. Conclusion: my TSI with the P-Tronic is the choice for a real sports car! Vinko K, Dubrovnik (Croatia)
