The first compact mono-space from Peugeot will thus be called Peugeot 5008. It takes up elements from the Peugeot 3008 and the Citroën C4. Some 4.53 m long (of which 2.76 usable), it can accommodate up to 7 adults. The central row of seats slides and the rear seats can be folded, which makes the 5008 a vehicle which is modular at will. In the engine compartment, six solutions are on offer. Four of these are turbo-diesels. They are a 1.6 HDi 110 bhp with a manual or robotised gearbox, and a 2.0 HDi 150 and 163 bhp. The others are two 1.6 THP turbo-petrol producing 120 and 156 bhp. As soon as the model is released - which will in fact be at the Frankfurt Motor Show - P-Tronic will be able to offer power-increasing solutions for all of these engines, with the 1.6 THP having entered our catalogue a few months ago. |
