 The launch of the new range of ES additional box units for boosted petrol engines forms part of the approach P-Tronic has always set for itself. This top of the range product has the benefit of the latest digital technology developed by P-Tronic in its own workshops. It recalculates the injection times with pinpoint precision in order to generate substantial increases in power and torque without any risk for the mechanical parts. On top of this, the ES additional box unit is fitted with original connectors, which means it can be easily fitted by anybody.At the moment, the P-Tronic ES is available for the 1.6 THP engines from Peugeot and Citroën, the 1.4 TB from Alfa Romeo, and the 1.4 T-Jet from Fiat and Lancia. It can also be fitted to the Mini Cooper S 1.6 Turbo. For each of these models, the additional box unit generates extra power and torque of the order of 30%, with an average decrease in fuel consumption of 12%. |
