P-Tronic launches a tuning box for Jaguar F-Pace

The power and torque of a Jaguar F-Pace can now be increased with the P-Tronic. The PT-A-38294 tuning box enables the F-Pace 2.0d 180 hp to gain 64 hp and 89 Nm, taking the figures to 244 hp and 469 Nm! Not to mention cutting fuel consumption by about 13%. A lifesaving boost to fuel economy for this engine, which is definitely punchy but somewhat thirsty in its standard version. The 3.0d at 300 hp can also be fitted with a box, as can the 340 and 380 hp 3.0 petrol versions.
Incarnating Jaguar's incursion into the world of SUVs, the F-Pace looks like a serious competitor for premium mid-sized models such as the Audi Q5, the BMW X3, the Mercedes GLC, the Porsche Macan and the Volvo XC60. As well as the 2.0, it is available in 3.0 V6 diesel (300 hp) and 3.0 V6 petrol (340 and 380 hp) versions. P-Tronic is working on further tuning boxes for these engines.
