Apart from the little touches to the headlights, grill, hatch and wheels, the face-lift of the Hyundai Tucson involves its power units. The 2.0 CRDi turbo-diesel moves up from 140 to 150 bhp, with torque maintained at 305 Nm. This is in particular achieved through re-worked electronic engine management. Associated as standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the 2.0 CRDi is also fitted with a particulate filter. The 2-wheel drive version can be fitted with a manual box. Hyundai has announced ESP as standard, new materials, cloths and control buttons as well as a more modern and powerful radio/CD. |
