The Porsche Cayenne had opened a breach into which other models from the brand were to fall. For the manufacturer has announced the release of a Panamera Diesel. Allied to an 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox, and to start&stop, this 3 litre V6 develops 250 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. This enables the Panamera to consume just 6.3 litres per 100 km when shod with low rolling resistance tyres (option) and 0.2 litres more with more classical rubber. This means that 1,200 km can be covered on a single thankful. Where performance is concerned, the Panamera is no snail. From 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 242 km/h. For Belgium, a 211 bhp version of this engine will be on offer. Just like the 250 bhp version, this engine is already in the P-Tronic additional box unit catalogue. |
