 Hyundai is pursuing its new name policy for its new models. The most eagerly awaited of these will doubtless be the iX55, the 7-seater SUV due to go on sale in December 2008. This is a European version of the Hyundai Veracruz, which is only available in America. The large 4 x 4 - 4.84 metres long - will be differentiated from its American cousin by its engine options. It will adopt a 3.0 CRDi (240 bhp) linked to a 6-speed automatic box. In parallel with this, Hyundai has announced that the replacement for the Sonata will be called the i40, while the i20 will have to wait until the end of the year before replacing the Getz. |
